Reliance Netconnect+ very bad service in Bangalore

Reliance Netconnect+ is a scam. They claim it to be a broadband and the charges are at par with other broadband services like DSL etc. But the speeds in Bangalore are only in the range of 1-10 Kbps which is not sufficient for even email checking and browsing.

On top of this, there are frequent disconnects. You cant even read news properly without getting disconnected, multiple times. Really annoying.

I had given them a request to change my plan to prepaid from postpaid, since I had stopped using it. After two months and multiple phone calls, they have still not changed my plan to prepaid. It is still in post paid and despite not using it, I have already received two bills. First one I was asked to pay saying after this there will not be any bill. But there is a second postpaid bill which is sent and I am being called to pay it as well.

What a scam, bad service, and bills are being sent without using the service. Two months back if they had changed it to prepaid, I wont be getting these bills but they simply wont do it.

Over all very bad experience.

Sorry, we did not find a suitable Google Analytics account for ... The solution

I had the same problem. Actually Ad Planner and Analytics were showing two different versions of my site's url. For example if i own toi.com

Analytics: www.toi.com

Ad Planner: toi.com (without the preceding www.)

I removed the www. from the url at Analytics by clicking on the pencil icon to the right of the url and it started working fine. Turns out, both the urls at both Analytics and Ad Planner must have the identical characters.

Access Wikileaks in India - Blocked

Access of wikileaks.org site in India seems to be blocked. Any way to access it. Tried a few proxy websites but didn't work.. If you have any clue on how to access it please share it in comments.

Stopping promotional messages from Tata Sky account

Tata Sky do maintain a internal do not call registry. Email them at help@tatasky.com asking to stop sending you promotional SMS on your mobile and you will get a reply saying your mobile has been added in the internal do not call registry.

citibank india crappy service : customer review suvidha saving account

i have a citibank india suvidha saving bank account for past 6 years (2004-2009). here are a few rants about there service and why i feel no one should open an account with them :

. marketing calls : i have been getting these marketing calls from citibank for past six years. given that every time i get a marketing call i raise a complaint with citibank this tells their attitude towards disturbing their cutomers with unsolicitated calls - "no matter what we will disturb you"

. charging without knowledge : fortunately i check my saving account status online every now and then. one fine day i notice a charge of Rs.250/- from citibank. i called them up and i was told that some service has been added to my account without before asking me. This has been done to all citibank customers. Expectation is if some customer does not want the service they will call and ask us to stop the service! but by default it will be enabled for all accounts and all will be charged Rs 250/- every month untill (they notice it) and tell us they dont want it.

What a crappy way of extracting money from customers!!!

. raising minimum account balance limit to unreasonable level : after holding a suvidha account the citibank for 6 years (and a platinum card), on fine day i receive this email from citibank saying now i have to maintain a minimum daily average account balance of Rs 25,000/- in my suvidha account. if for any month the average daily balance falls from Rs 25,000/- i will be charged Rs 200/- for the month.

Nice way to thank and appreciate a 6 year old customer!!
